Providing support to children

Supporting children, and now primarily from among IDPs, is one of the areas of charity support from Avrora. The initiatives include:

Vilnohirsk
The psychological support centre for IDPs was opened on the basis of the volunteer humanitarian centre within the “Psychological help for children and adults affected by war” project. The volunteers contributed to the repair and furnishing of the premises, local residents brought educational construction kits, games, books and toys. Avrora provided the centre with stationery for children to develop their creativity.

Borodianka
The local Avrora multimarket donated toys to local kids, kindergartens, as well as to the children’s rooms of the modular town for IDPs in Borodianka, urban-type settlement of Buchanskyi District of Kyiv Region.

Poltava
Avrora joined the charity festival on the occasion of the Children’s Day, which was held on the initiative of the public organization “Svii sered svoikh” (One among insiders). A lot of entertainment was organized for kids and parents, and the funds raised at the festival were transferred to support the 92nd Mechanized Brigade.

Vinnytsia
On July 6, Vinnytsia rescuers held a public campaign “Prevent. Rescue. Help” on the territory of the children’s recreation camp of the National Police of Ukraine named after Yu. Riabchynska, where the camp “I am Mariupol. Family” is now functioning. The specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arranged different locations where adults and children could see and hear a lot of interesting related to life safety rules, as well as learned about the work of a pyrotechnician, diver and rescue dog. Children tried on elements of turnout gear and learned about the purpose of special vehicles.
Avrora also joined this campaign, which was attended by about 120 children, and provided everything necessary for entertainment, that is balls, soap bubbles and chalk to draw on the pavement.
