Traditionally, in autumn and spring, Aurora employees gather together on their day off to join the reforestation of Poltava region. This time, a friendly team of eco-conscious Aurora employees planted a forest near the Tereshky village. It is symbolic that the planting took place on Earth Day, which is celebrated annually on April 22. On this day, everyone can make a small contribution to environmental protection.
As a result of the joint eco-activity with foresters, 1,140 Scots pine seedlings were planted in the Chalivka forestry of the “Poltava Forestry” branch of the SE “Forests of Ukraine”. The great time and good deed will be remembered not only by the employees of the support office, but also by their children, who joined their parents. And when children see how to take care of nature from an early age, they follow a positive example.
As always, the planting ended in a delicious and heart-warming way – with a well-deserved snack and tea from a kazan. Everyone thanked the foresters for the arrangements and promised to meet again at the new location in autumn.
From now on, one more forest of Aurora will be growing in Poltava region.
