2. plug the product into the Tester socket;
3. if there is a power button, turn on the device under test (for example - turn on the power button of the hair straightener or clipper);
4. - make sure the goods are in good condition;
5. - Turn off the power button of the product (if available);
6. - Disconnect the product from the Tester socket.
Check products that are powered by a USB port
In order to check the operability of products powered by a USB port, you must:
1. Connect the USB cable of the device to the appropriate connector of the tester;
2. make sure the goods are in good condition;
3. Disconnect the product from the USB connector of the Tester.
If the USB cable is working, you need to:
1. Connect the USB cable to the appropriate connector on the device.
2. Connect any USB-powered device to the cable.
3. Make sure the USB cable is working.
4. Disconnect the device from the USB cable and then the cable from the Tester.
Checking products that are powered by a car cigarette lighter
In order to check the operability of goods that work from a car cigarette lighter, you must:
1. Plug the product into the cigarette lighter socket (it is located under the USB connectors);
2. if there is a power button, turn on the device (for example, turn on the power button on the car pump);
3. make sure the goods are in good condition;
4. turn off the power button of the product (if available);
5. Disconnect the product from the Tester.
