In February 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine launched a pilot project to engage volunteers. The Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian army operate in a way that allows anyone interested to obtain reliable and comprehensive information about vacancies in the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The project aims to improve and reform the military recruitment system, focusing on a human-centered approach. These are significant changes, and Aurora team believes that such work will yield better results. Thus, this publication is our informational contribution to spreading awareness about recruitment centers.
The main purpose of the Recruitment Centers is to help Ukrainians consciously find their place in the military sector, one where they can make the most of their experience, skills and abilities.
The Recruitment Centers are staffed only by civilian professionals, and their approach is focused on helping people find jobs.
Their activities are organized transparently and conveniently for everyone who wants to learn more about the Defense Forces. You can visit the Center during working hours without an appointment, and you are free to go to any Center, regardless of where you live or are registered.
You do not have to visit in person, you can just call or message via WhatsApp, Telegram, or Viber. Alternatively, you can request a recruiter’s call through the website. If desired, you can inquire anonymously about any matter that interests you. The Recruitment Centers do not conduct mobilization and do not transfer information about individuals who have been consulted regarding joining the Ukrainian Defense Forces to the Military Registration and Enlistment Centers.
Currently, there are 49 Recruitment Centers operating in Ukraine. In the future, they will be opened in all regional centers of Ukraine. We are confident that this initiative should be developed and supported.
