Ukrainians find an opportunity to help our defenders on every holiday. This was the case in Poltava, where the City Day was celebrated on June 29. Local volunteers and charitable organisations announced a fund-raising to buy electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the 116th Territorial Defense Brigade, the 18th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation named after Igor Sikorsky, and the 17th Separate Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. Aurora made its contribution of UAH 300,000, because comprehensive support of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is our highest priority.
We are grateful to the drivers and main donors of the event – the Poltava Battalion of the Indifferent and their social project Blagokava, which raised more than half a million hryvnias. We are grateful to the fund-raising partners (MistoHub and Dmytro Sobakar’s restaurant chain) and the incredible Poltava residents who donated almost UAH 113,000.
Aurora independently organises or joins charitable initiatives aimed at supporting the Defense Forces of Ukraine and helping those affected by the war. This is how we see corporate social responsibility: doing our best and donating to protect those who defend us.
