3 years of Diia.Business in Poltava: Aurora continues to support entrepreneurship development

On September 14, 2021, in partnership with Aurora, the Diia.Business Entrepreneur Support Center opened in Poltava as a regional representative office of a large-scale national project. Potential and existing entrepreneurs have access to affordable business education, free consultations from experts and legal support, attend valuable lectures, educational events and conferences, and can present and test products.

“Diia.Business in Poltava has transformed from an empty building, through renovations, furnishing, and team selection, into a stable organization promoting entrepreneurship in the city,” Aliona Honcharenko, head of the Diia.Business Entrepreneur Support Center in Poltava, emphasized.

Over 3 years of operation, the Poltava Entrepreneur Support Center has achieved significant results:

      Entrepreneurs have received over UAH 24,000,000 through the Center’s projects.

      More than 33,000 Ukrainians have visited the Diia.Business Center in Poltava and participated in over 800 events, ranging from workshops and business camps to long-term educational and grant programs.

      Approximately 10,000 inquiries have been processed regarding business operations, legal aspects and grant support.

      Over 2,800 free individual consultations have been provided to entrepreneurs.

      The visitor satisfaction rate for services is 94% CSAT.

      0 budget funds were used.

This year, with the support of our Company, the Diia.Business Center in Poltava launched the Trajectory educational grant program for veterans, military personnel and their spouses. The evaluation of business plans has been completed, and 50 finalists will receive funding under the program.

 

“Our priorities for the future include:

Supporting veteran-owned businesses;

Developing the digitalization of local businesses;

Supporting craft entrepreneurs and manufacturers,” Aliona Honcharenko added.

At the event dedicated to the three-year anniversary of Diia.Business in Poltava, Aliona Zhyhura, Head of CSR at Aurora, received an award for the Company’s contribution to the development of veteran-owned, craft, micro, and small businesses, promotion of economic freedom, and strengthening of the institutional capacity of the Poltava Entrepreneur Support Center.
