Aurora Social: we Support People Affected by War

Now the number one problem in Ukraine is the war. While others catch up with it: lack of work, a rise in the dollar and prices. We understand how hard it is for every average Ukrainian. But a dozen times worse it’s for people who, saving their lives, were forced to leave their homes and move to other regions of the country.
Thus Aurora, together with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, launches a unique programme – Aurora Social to support particularly temporary displaced persons and people who have suffered material losses as a result of hostilities.
What is this? We’ve issued a special plastic card, which can be obtained by any of the people forcibly displaced from their hometowns and villages. There are 2200 bonus hryvnias on the card, for which one can make purchases in any Aurora store.
One can buy any product for bonus funds: from personal hygiene products, household chemicals, and home textiles to underwear and kids’ toys.
Currently, one can get a card in five cities of the country: Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kryvyi Rih, Trostianets, and Uman. But soon, we will be expanding the issuing regions.
