Aurora has joined the UN Global Compact, committing itself to incorporating its principles into the corporate strategy, culture and daily operations, as well as to contributing to the achievement of the UN SDGs.
The UN Global Compact Ukraine is the Ukrainian network of the world’s largest community of businesses operating according to ESG principles. This is a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, whose mission is to encourage companies to align their operations and strategies with the SDGs and based on ten principles related to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
Among the 17 UN SDGs, we have prioritised the following:
Goal 1. No Poverty
Goal 5. Gender equality
Goal 7. Affordable and clean energy
Goal 8. Decent work and economic growth
Goal 12. Responsible consumption and production
Goal 17. Partnerships for the goals
The UN Global Compact has 24,000 members in 167 countries. The Ukrainian network has 149 members. From now on, Aurora is among them. Due to participation in the initiative, we will have the opportunity to share best practices and join efforts with companies around the world.
